As you very well know, tonight will be the first presidential debate, I’m not sure but I think it’s Trump versus Biden :-) I think I’ll watch it, basically because I don’t have any other channels :-) I’ll be curious to see which one of them were opening prayer in which one will close with prayer. I won’t be holding my breath on that one. Scripture of course reminds us that God appointed the kings and rulers of this world. I’ve got to believe That is how God designed politics

This is all I’ve got today, a great little chorus I learned back in the 50s. The wise man built his house upon the rock, the wise man built his house upon the rock, the wise man built his house upon the rock and the rains came tumbling down, the rains came down and the floods came up, the rains came down and the floods came up, the rains came down and the floods came up, but the house on the rock stood firm. Enjoy your Monday 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Lots Of Storms Today,We need THE ROCK Do you ever have one of those days where you feel like you’re the one sheep, that Jesus left the other 99 for, to come and rescue. When you follow your own will,You will become lost.I’m glad The Shepherds staff has a hook on it to pull me back, instead of using the other end to push me away, which I deserve. Actually I deserve to be smacked over the head a couple times with the hook then pushed away. Why does God love me, ever ask yourself that. In the book of Luke Jesus says he rejoices when one of us return to him. I don’t know how you could be happy about me coming back but he is it says so in his word . I’m sure your prayer list along with mine is turning into a monstrous number of things, the most urgent I have right now are Kelli Kris Steve Maverick Sarah and our new lady who wishes not to have her name mentioned, everyone of these people are in need to have their name upheld to The Throne,as I’m sure you have a list also. Thanks for checking in , And try to keep those prayers said in your Bibles read 👍🙏📖
Have a great Lords Day!!!!! Heading over to my daughters today for one last cookout and swim, With all of my nine precious grandchildren, for the summer, beautiful 80° day. And boy I have the prayer requests ever mounted. Lots of hurt and uncertainty and sickness these days. I think I’d be going a little nuts if I didn’t know that God knew about it. If He knows the number of hairs on my head, which changes daily, :-) then I’ve got to trust Him with the big stuff. Kelli Kris Maverick Steve Sarah, and a new request, who has asked I leave her name off, so let’s just pray for her as Table Tops new addition to the prayer chain 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏!!!If you get a minute today read Romans eight it’s packed with good advice and help. The apostle Paul knew we would need Roman eight in 2020
During this whole Covid deal, and lock down time, do you think you could’ve found 80 hours of your life to read the Bible from Genesis through Revelation 👍👍. It takes about 15 minutes a day for the average reader to read through The Bible in a year. It’s great if you’ve done that, when I did it it took about three years :-) but what is more important in the 15 minutes that you read it a day, you find a verse that helps you cope with life, has promise, and sometimes even brings conviction upon you. I remember in school those so-called smart kids, you know the type that you wanted to beat up at the bus stop because they would always ruin the curve,😂😂 the way we used to be graded, by reading so quickly, BUT, they couldn’t remember one thing they read. When I see my grandkids read The Bible now, and those precious little fingers point to every word, that’s how you read God’s Word!!!!! MAKE IT COUNT!!
The prayer list is getting longer and longer these days, Kris Kelli Steve Maverik Sarah !!!! Thank you so much, and in these busy times, please find time to keep your prayers said and your Bibles read 👍🙏📖 Good for you if you’re trying to read the Bible through in a year, it’s not easy, even better if you memorize one verse a week!! THY WORD HAVE I HID IN MY HEART T. THANK G. God I. I’M F. FORGIVEN Big-time prayer request today if possible for a lady named Sarah, battling cancer, if we could all uphold her in prayer today, that would be great. She is the wife of a new, great friend of mine, who takes damaged, and nobody wants so to speak, vehicles and turns them into “Beautiful” rebuilt machines.Gary does to vehicles, what Christ can do with your life,if you trust in Him!! He can take all the damage, the ugliness, and the feeling of being of no use, and change you into a work of art through His Hands!!! So today if you’re feeling like a ding dump, cast away, just remember Jesus is in the rebuild business just like Gary. I know I have to go into the body shop of Christ every day and get fixed up, The beauty of that is if shop is never closed!! Prayers
are 24/7!!!! God‘s instruction manual is narrow, but boy is it a good read. Our little motto here at table top ministries “Keep your prayers said and your Bibles read.” You enjoy this beautiful Thursday, and thank you for the prayers for Sarah along with Kelli Kris Steve and Maverick. And thanks for checking in 👍🙏📖 Have you ever been to an event and had what they called “the best seats in the house” David reminds in his 33rd Psalm,14th verse, that God has a pretty good seat looking down on His creation. This verse of course tells us from His dwelling place, He looks down on us. Another words, He has the best seat in HIS HOUSE to watch us. Probably some good advice for us to take from this verse, would be to keep our eyes on Him, because He never takes His eyes off of us. Continued prayers for Kelli Kris Steve and Maverick thank you ,enjoy this first full day of fall, and remember, God attends every funeral of a sparrow , He’s watching us. Keep those prayers said in your Bibles read 👍🙏📖🤗 Enjoy your Wednesday and as always, thanks for taking the time out of your busy life to check out
TABLE TOP’s Daily Thought Page 👍👍👍👍 I would like to take this time wish my youngest son Christopher and his lovely wife Alexandra a very happy second anniversary. I can’t believe it was two years ago today I had the privilege of doing the ceremony and marrying those two, time goes by so quickly doesn’t it :-) Christopher is one of the ones that I mention daily for prayer and if you can continue to do that for him it would be so much appreciated and he appreciates the prayers you send up for him. But it’s a come car in there their second anniversary I can’t help but think that when we do something that’s worth keeping track of it becomes an anniversary are very special day doesn’t it I made the trellis that I married these two under and of course I got some nice letters to put on the trellis itself. It’s kind of hard to forget the day :-) I wish I remember the exact day that I was baptized, and saved, I know pretty close to when it was but I don’t have the actual day. When I baptize people, I give them a framed certificate with the date and where it took place. So congratulations Kris and now love you both and your two pups Duke and now I sure are the luckiest dogs in the world :-) Christopher of course appreciates those prayers so if you could keep them going for him his sister Kelli along with Steve and Maverick so much appreciate it. Keep those Bibles read in your prayers said. Thanks for checking in have a great day
I remember back in the good ole days, at South Baptist Church, in Lansing Michigan, I had the privilege of working in AWANA. I was in charge of the group called Sparkys, precious five and six-year-olds. I don’t know if you know what AWANA standS for, but this is why it was called that, APPROVED WORKMAN ARE NOT ASHAMED !!! I really don’t need to say anything else with that. When Paul wrote Timothy his second letter, Instructed him to get on board with the Awahna program. Glad I did it was a great time in my life. In fact I’m gonna start doing more of a wanna. Have a great Monday, thank you again for all the continued prayers for Kris Kelly Steve and Maverick. Keep your Bibles read in your prayers said thanks for checking in
I’ve got some good news for us today on this beautiful Lords’Day, It’s in Isaiah, chapter 1 verse 18. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow”. Here’s what I take from that scripture, I’m really not good enough to save myself from my sins!! But I do know that I’m not bad enough, that God can’t save me through His Son!!! It’s a win win, when you try your best to stop living in sin, and ask for forgiveness. Continued prayers for Kelli Chris Steve and Mary so much appreciate it. You have a great lords day. Keep your prayers said, and your Bibles read. Thank you so much for checking in 👍🙏📖
