Revelation 7:17, reminds us that Jesus came as a sacrificial lamb, but He’s now sitting at the right hand of God, as “The Shepherd”ready to lead you and me. We need some hope to think about today don’t we,, so let’s remember this, God’s plan was for us to take the sacrificial lamb into our lives as our savior, and let Him be the shepherd of our lives, waiting for His return. Can’t wait till He comes to get His flock 👍👍🙏🙏👍👍 Keep those prayers coming, keep that Bible open, keep being a soldier of the cross, and may this Wednesday be a daily walk with Him 😇😇

John chapter 13, records the event that took place when The Lord Jesus girded Himself with a towel, filled a basin, and prepared to wash His disciples feet !!!! When He came to Peter, he immediately, and quickly, told The Lord , Thou shalt never wash my feet !!! Got a question for you, do you think it was because of a sense of unworthiness, that he didn’t want The Lord washing his feet, or do you think Peter was thinking,” I don’t need anybody to wash my feet, I can wash my own.” As for me, if I would’ve been in that upper room that evening, snd Christ came to be in front of me,to wash my feet, I probably would’ve said the same thing out of unworthiness, for sure. Here’s the son of God, made a little lower than angels to come here to earth, washing my feet when He was about to die for my sins. I need some humble pie today :-) When Aretha sang” R E S P E C T “ ,so many years ago, that is exactly why we need to live each day, Respecting, and serving, HE, who’s willing to wash feet 🙏🙏🙏🙏 A SAVIOUR WHO WASHES FEET!!!!!!!!!! 📖📖📖📖Read it 👍👍
In Mark 8:34, Jesus reminds us to desire Him,to deny ourselves, and take up THE CROSS IN HIS NAME,and follow Him !!! Jesus was telling His disciples in Mark 8, that they are to deny themselves, and be identified with Him and His Cross!!! Jesus also reminded them some victories in the game of life, brought upon yourself, really don’t count for much, but He reminded them, what really counts is what they will do for Him !!! I guess it would be safe to say, that Jesus was reminding us,that when we live for Him we become the real winners of life. Good stuff, continued prayers for Carol and Maverick muchly appreciated, along with prayers for yourself, your own family, this state, this nation, this world. I bet you could enjoy your Saturday a lot better if you didn’t try to be a follower of yourself, and set some examples for your family today, and let them see you being a follower of Christ. You’ve heard me say this before, “I’d rather see a sermon and then hear one”!!! Enjoy Your Day, Read The Word, Memorize A Verse, Make some calls, Say some prayers, Live A Sermon 👍👍🙏🙏📖📖
I wrote this down in a journal of over nine years ago, after I had studied First Corinthians 15. “Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee” I’m glad Paul kept writing, and I’m glad that I’m still reading The Word📖📖📖📖 It’s all in there, for sure, you just have to keep reading it, memorizing it, and spreading it around. Have a good Thursday, continued prayers for Carol would be appreciated along with Maverick 🙏🙏👍👍
First Corinthians 6:20 “You were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit”. Wow!!!! Your forgiveness and freedom from your sins did not come at a cheap cost at all!!! Neither did the freedom of this country that we enjoy. I wrote this in my journal nine years ago, after I studied this segment of scripture, and I wrote “Ken,when will you ever put on the entire armor of God,and keep it on at all the times, and not just when you feel like it, He paid for your filth with His life, do what He asks in return.”Good preaching to myself for sure, and for those of you who don’t wanna stand for our flag, out respect for those that can’t stand, because of their devotion to our flag, feel free to leave!! Sorry, but when you’ve been in the armed forces, and see one of those flags draped over a casket, no respect whatsoever for people who can’t stand for it, sickening actually. If you could pray for Carol, down in Pleasant Lake Michigan, recovering from triple bypass surgery in these tough times, THANK YOU!!
Mark reminds us and his 13 chapter,” that heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words won’t”!!! What are the reasons we can have confidence in God‘s Word, simply because it has endured, and been preserved, through the years. When Jesus said that” Heaven and earth, will pass away, but MY WORDS won’t”, and talks about how the flesh, like grass, it will wither and fade away, and flowers fall, He wants us to be reassured, He’s there for the long-haul !!! Peter, in his first letter, gives us a better outlook when he pens, “The Word of the Lord will endure forever”. You can trust the Bible, it’s God’s Word, it has,and will endure, and being like a compass,The Bible, will never point you in the wrong direction!!! Keep it out, keep it open in your home 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Keep those nonstop prayers goin, we need them!!!! Pray for your Monday!!!! Thanks for checking in 👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for checking in on this Lords’Day, I thought today I would give just a “daily thought” seeing how this part of my ministry is called “The Daily Thought Page,” so here goes 👍👍 When people ask me, what does God want from us !!! My answer, YOU!! One of the hardest things we can give Him is ourselves, we feel that giving of ourself is tuff to give up!!! We all think about giving time, tithe, being involved in a church, makes God happy, which it does. But what God wants the most is that child like faith, to trust in Christ, His Son, and then to be willing to be one of His servants. We can’t give God anything, He doesn’t need anything,HE WANTS ALL OF YOU!!! Prayers, prayers, and more prayers, for your family, my family, this state, this nation. God has blessed us,let’s not lose sight of that, and pray for His Sons return, which seems not too be far off !! That’s why He wants us to get busy,to spread The Word, but most of all, give our all to Him!!! He gave His all, became our substitute !!! Have a great family service at home today, with prayer time, singing and praise 😇😇🙏🙏👍👍 thanks for checking in !!!!
I want you to take a few minutes and think about this question before you answer it :-) kind a like in the army, you never volunteered for anything,or raised your hand :-) What is the one word you would use to describe Calvary, the one word, you would use to describe Calvary!!! Got your answer :-) no it’s not love, no it’s not sacrifice, the word should be substitute. Another words,Christ took our place on that cross so our name could be written in The Book Of Life, and our sins forgiven!!! JESUS SUBSTITUTED HIS LIFE FOR OURS!!! Interesting how just yesterday, I was talking about eight-year-old Madryn, figured it out!!! Your life is has been substituted by Jesus Christ, you might want to consider that real hard these few days!!! Keep your prayer chains going, keep your Bibles open, and keep ready to present The Gospel, right on your lips have a great Friday
Just some very good, lighthearted news this morning, which I thought we could all use!!! I just got off the phone with my BIG BROTHER,Steve, who told me that one of his eight-year-old grandsons, Madryn, received Christ as Savior, during these tough times. Another name in THE BOOK OF LIFE,a precious young foot soldier for Christ, that is what it’s all about!!! Continue in prayer for your family, your friends, this nation, this world!!! Thank you so much for checking in,but I thought we could use a little encouragement today, even through these terrible times !!! Christ Is Alive, And Well, and working in people’s hearts!!! Way to go Madryn, the best decision of your life!!!!!!!!
“ LET THE LITTLE ONES,COME UNTO ME” In Paul’s first letter to Timothy, chapter 6 verse eight, he simply said that “having enough food and clothing you should be content”. I wrote this down as a biblical truth nine years ago today” God has always provided for me and I have never thanked Him enough, why do I keep asking instead of just giving myself to The Lord, and saying “have your way”. I have always been a thankful person,no doubt there, what The Lord has done for me and my family !! These are tough times, and no fun for sure, but if we try to be content with what The Lord has given us, even through these times, you’re satisfication level will soar, and who knows ,we might even become thankful 👍🙏😇
It’s a good day to double down on your prayer requests ,for our families, our friends, our nation !!!!! Matthew reminders in 6:8, God knows what we need, I’m gonna focus on thanking HIM today for my “ENOUGHNESS” |
