Have a good Monday :-)
We all know the verse, IICorinthian's 5:8, is where Paul promises that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. In May 2007, when my dad entered heaven because of his belief in Jesus Christ as his Savior, he had a welcoming party waiting for him. The Head Host of that group was Jesus Christ Himself :-) When I take my dad his daily bread out to the cemetery, I know he's not there, Its just that I do it out of respect to him, and I know that he stepped out of a body riddled with bone cancer into Christ's arms!!!!!!. Hope you know Jesus in a personal way,so that when you do cross over Jordan, Jesus will be waiting.
Have a good Monday :-)

The good news, also known as the gospel, it's just too good to keep to just yourself, spread THE WORD!! Enjoy your Saturday :-)
Quick thought for your" Thank God I'm Forgiven" Friday, according to the books of Philippians and James, nothing pleases God more than we sacrifice things for ourselves, and by doing so we will grow out of our obedience to Him!
Self-sacrifice, obedience, equals one happy camper :-) In Revelation 7,John brings up a very good point, he talks about the lamb being a shepherd. When was the last time you drove by a farm with sheep on it and saw one of them holding a staff :-) Just think Christ became the lamb, to die for yours and my sins, so He could be the shepherd who is alive and well today at the right hand of God, to lead us :-) That should make your Wednesday!!!!
I finally got to watch a few minutes of the Olympics last night, tremendous athletes for sure. But I can't help but think of all the hours and hours and hours of practice and sacrifice just to have those few minutes to try to prove you're the best in the world. Couldn't help but compare that to our lives, no matter how hard we try,or how good we are, that is not how we receive salvation. My salvation comes from Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for my sins on a Friday afternoon. Doesn't matter how good I try, or how hard I practice, it's not good enough to earn me a ticket to to heaven!!! I'm so thankful He made the plan the way He did,but I couldn't help but think last night it cost Him His life, so when I do fail, and don't win the gold medal,He doesn't kick me off the team :-) Have a great Tuesday!!!
One of the reasons I love reading from the book of
Jeremiah is because God spoke directly to him as to what to write in his book. Jeremiah 36 two through three, is especially good news, God is telling him to pen that everyone can turn from sin and their evil way, and I will forgive them. :-) A lot of people don't like to read the Bible because of the very vivid pictures that it prints out for us to follow, Selah!!!! Enjoy your Presidents' Day And thanks Jeremiah, for doing such a good job writing all these truths!! Whenever I think about, or look towards heaven, I can't help but think of Christ sitting at the right hand of God. That proof is found in Colossians 3:1!!!! And to think the Father and Son both, know me by name!!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow :-) Have a great Sunday !!!
When I have people ask me about premarital sex, fornication, and adultery, this is how I answer, doesn't matter what I say, here's what God has to say about it. The apostle Paul, like myself, sure make a lot of friends when you quote First Thess.4:3&4, then I give people hope and tell him to read Romans 8:1!! Your body is a vessel, a temple, I know it's hard, but you can't walk in the flesh and The Spirit,at the same time!! If I was to guest speak and preach this at a service tomorrow, I bet the offering would go way down :-) in fact, I'd highly recommend they take the offering before the sermon!!! LOL, If this scripture bothers you, just remember I didn't write it, God Himself, directed Paul's hand to pen these verses!!! Nobody deserves hell more than I do, thanks for writing this Paul, we all need it!! On a happier note it quit snowing for a few minutes :-) Quick thought for the day comes from David's pen,
Psalm 30:5 !!! I love the last few words of the verse "but joy comes in the morning" SELAH!!! The verse kind of tells us that if we can hang on in this life, we will have total joy in our eternal life, with our eternal Savior, Jesus Himself!!! Hang in there, enjoy your Thursday!!! There must be something wrong ,it quit snowing, and I'm not plowing right now :-) So I had a few minutes to study this morning and I got good news for you, out of Hebrews 13 verse two. Might want to look it up, just to let you know that when you have the guts to be a witness and help other people out because you're a part of God's Family, did you know that that entertains God's angels when you're doing good :-) Don't worry about the credit down here you're making people up there happy :-) which includes God himself !!!! Have a great Tuesday :-)
